Our Curriculum

 

Our curriculum is called Learning Without Tears (LWT). Though our day does have a lot of play, we also work in workbooks, and do many hands-on activities from the LWT curriculum. The themes and corresponding activities are teacher created by me, Miss Hutchison. This makes the themes more fun and memorable for your students. I use your students personal interests to come up with themes and activities that they will remember and enjoy! What you can do at home to help:

• Read with/to your child every night

• Watch them as they practice writing their name

• Have them practice writing other letters and numbers 

• Ask them to name the letters and numbers they are writing

• Help your child gain independence by letting them do things on their own.

  • putting on clothes 

  • zipping their jacket

  • opening snacks
